Effect of quercetin
Quercetin,as the most common flavonoids,has a variety of biological activities,can resist oxidation,and plays an important role in the clinical treatment of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
1.Antioxidant function
Quercetin not only participates in antioxidant activity in vitro,but also can inhibit DNA oxidative damage.It can also protect tissues from oxidative damage by reducing the concentration of peroxides in tissues in vivo.
2.Anticancer effect
