1 Clearing free radicals
Ferulic acid has a strong antioxidant effect,which can eliminate oxygen free radicals,inhibit enzymes that produce free radicals,promote the production of enzymes that eliminate free radicals,eliminate oxidative damage to cell membranes and DNA caused by free radicals,and protect the body from free radical damage.
2 Whitening
Ferulic acid can inhibit the activity of B16V in melanocytes,and using 0.1-0.5%ferulic acid solution can reduce the number of melanocytes from 117±23/mm2 to 39±7/mm2;At the same time,ferulic acid can also inhibit the activity of tyrosinase.A solution of ferulic acid with a concentration of 5mmol/L can inhibit tyrosinase activity by up to 86%.Even if the concentration of ferulic acid solution is only 0.5mmol/L,its inhibition rate on tyrosinase activity can reach about 35%.
3 Resistance to UV damage
Ferulic acid contains a pair of conjugated double bonds,which have strong absorption of UV rays ranging from 290 to 350nm.At a concentration of 0.7%,it can effectively prevent skin redness caused by UVB,prevent and reduce UV damage to the skin;Ferulic acid helps to prevent cell damage caused by ultraviolet radiation,enhance the skin's ability to resist photoaging and prevent skin cancer.
4 Anti inflammation
Ferulic acid has anti-inflammatory and broad-spectrum anti-allergic effects,and the inhibitory rate of IL-4 at a concentration of 4umol/L is 18.2%.

Applicable pH:3.0-6.0.
Ferulic acid is soluble in hot water,but can easily precipitate after cooling;It is recommended to increase the use of polyols in the system and add the cosolvent ethoxydiethylene glycol.And adjusting the pH to around 5.0 is beneficial for low-temperature stability,and an excessively high pH environment can easily accelerate the oxidation and discoloration of ferulic acid.
